Wandering around at the beaches and dunes at the campground, astonished that there was almost nobody camping there. I packed my cameras and found a perfect spot to watch the sunset, i could already see Fraser Island in the distance

Maybe the reason, that tourists aren’t good hiker, very seldom they post “long” roundtrip hikes on their maps, so i decided to combine multiple hikes

Still a lot of houses on the ridge standing damaged and partial over the ridge. My navigation system wasn’t that up to date, so there i had a lot of detours to drive to get to my destination

Hiking along the valley some signs gave an good impression what this glacier must have looked like years before. Yes, “must have looked liked”, there wasn’t much pretty left of the huge glacier
