i walked the beach up to Surfers Paradise. Yes, the beach might be nice if the weather fits, but the rest…? Pictures along the the beach showing the glory time in the 60’s and 70’s where nice, but in my eyes there is almost nothing left.
i saw an older lady trying to get into an other bus, this bus started to drive backwards and to close the door while she was still boarding. The lady felt backwards out of the door and on the concrete.
Wandering around at the beaches and dunes at the campground, astonished that there was almost nobody camping there. I packed my cameras and found a perfect spot to watch the sunset, i could already see Fraser Island in the distance
Having free WiFi in the bus and that they were playing a radio station was nice and entertaining. Finally we arrived still early enough at the airport, but saved $18
The most “spectacular” thing for today was Charlie, the Water Buffalo (sadly now dead and stuffed on top of the bar) from the movie Crocodile Dundee in the Adelaide River Inn Pub.
