Melbourne-Darwin Day 19 / Litchfield NP – Darwin 110km

Screen Shot 2015-03-16 at 20.44.41(2015/03/13) … sad but true, this was our last ride. Tomorrow there will be only a short drive around Darwin. The distance was also very short, so enough time for getting up, doing some sights at the road in the Lichfield National Park. Termite mounds, so huge ones i had never seen and on the other side where the “Magnetic” Termite mounds, which are very flat and exactly pointing North/South. Waterfalls and waterholes invited for swimming, but the falls were to crowded with older people so we continued to the waterholes. The best thing todo, was to get into the water with my motorbike cloths, that was relaxing and refreshing. After 50km, everything was dry again, but it was a pleasure to had a wet suite for driving. During a first ride through darwin i bought two beers in a bottle store. Löwenbräu and Öttinger, you cannot imagine how delicious they taste, after three weeks drinking the canned water like refreshment drinks. hmmmmmmmmmmmmm, beer with taste, BEER! Real Beer 😉 For dinner, Hard cooked some Buffalo sausages with chilli, hmmm… that was a prober last arrival…
