(2015/03/07) … today? nothing much to tell about, crossed the Finke river and got some interesting informations about the inland rivers and finally arrived save in Alice Springs. For the evening, a place in a steak restaurant was booked in advance. The choice of a buffalo steak, of course medium, was hmmm….okay, but it wasn’t medium, it was well done. That reminded me to my sisters and my problem in France getting the steak right. Now we know how to order it proper with “à point or rosé“, because “medium” they always understand “medium rare” .I didn’t expected much from this “steak” restaurant, because i checked it’s rating online and it wasn’t a good one. The highlight was the free beer if you show the restaurants own voucher. Not bad, a small beer for free, with these high prices in Aussie, very welcomed. Afterwards the others choose to crash into a bar, but i preferred to went to bed and save some money, for some other spontaneous and better options…
